Computer scientist and electrical engineer; the longest-tenured on-camera investigator on The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch. Began investigations under Fugal in 2016 and has maintained near-continuous presence at the ranch since; the show effectively layers Travis Taylor’s seasonal investigations on top of Bard’s ongoing background work.

On-screen Bard functions as the show’s institutional memory: when Travis arrives for a filming season, the equipment baselines, the previous anomaly logs, and the current open questions all come from Bard’s continuous record. His tenure also predates the TV show’s existence by four years, giving him knowledge of the property that is not on-camera-documented.
